Solid Light / Abandoned Spaces

These photographs represent an ongoing body of work begun in 1981. The images are concerned with space and how it is defined by light and acted upon by time and habitation. In some instances, light is solid, delineating and creating levels of depth. The light can also begin to dissolve the space. In all instances, light is the only active force in an otherwise quiet, empty space.
